Fender Stratocaster

The Fender Stratocaster guitar is by far the most famous electric guitars in the entire world, and it’s been that way for quite a long time. It s also a legendary instrument, stemming from a legendary musical company. In fact, so much of what goes on today with electric guitars can be traced right back to early Stratocasters, and some of those changes… If you have owned a Fender Strat, then there is a good chance that you know all about it. Even if you never got to try out one, just looking at photos of famous musicians playing the Strat, or seeing a Fender Strat in person is enough to make you jealous, because it looks and sounds amazing.

Why the Old Fenders Still Rock

If you are looking to buy your own Fender Stratocaster, you are probably going to want to go with a vintage model. The cool thing about vintage fender stratocasters is that they have a much richer, darker tone to them, because the mahogany body shape gives it that dark, oily richness. The vintage model Stratocaster also has an incredible amount of “thump,” which is the sound that you get when you play the guitar really hard. Another feature of a vintage Strat that is really helpful for soloists is the large whammy bar. Basically, the larger whammy bar allows you to get a nice solid tone without getting over-bumpy on the bottom end.

On the downside, the guitar is not as easy to learn to play as it used to be. This is not a problem though, because even if you don’t really like to play guitar, you can still use the Fender Strat to help your son or daughter play better. In addition to being an amazing tool for your child to learn how to play an electric guitar, the fender stratocaster is also great for anyone who just wants to pick up a great sounding instrument. There are some decent models that have been produced in the past few decades, but this one is considered a vintage model.
